Non‑Metallic Chain Type Sludge Scraper

The non‑metallic chain plate sludge scraper is an automated sludge removal system specifically designed for wastewater treatment tanks, including dissolved air flotation (DAF) units, primary sedimentation tanks, and secondary clarifiers. It utilizes flexible chain plates to drive scraper blades, efficiently conveying settled sludge and floating scum toward the sludge collection trough.

Unlike conventional metal chain systems (such as stainless steel or carbon steel), its core advantage lies in its non‑metallic construction. The system adopts high‑strength engineering plastic chains—such as polyoxymethylene (POM), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and reinforced nylon—combined with ultra‑high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) or reinforced nylon materials for the chain plates and transmission components, ensuring superior corrosion resistance, durability, and long service life.
